Last weekend I doubled up at Keystone. A friend of a friend of a friend of a....you get the point...has a condo right in East Keystone. Spiral staircase, hot tub, and my favorite, sauna! We drove up Friday night, momentarily checked out the Breckenridge nightlife (I played a mean game of pinball), and hit the hay.
Good thing we were well-rested, because the next day I skied the best trees of my life. Untouched powder turns, run after run after run, until they closed the lift and made me go back to the condo. Someone was definitely looking out for me that day.
The next day I continued my streak by checking out the nordic scene in town. I headed to the Keystone Nordic Center, where I checked out my new skis by doing every loop. Snow quality (grooming) wasn't very good, but I still wrecked myself just fine. I was completely exhausted and back into Colorado Springs before 2pm on Sunday. Sweet.

Sounds like a good weekend :]
Back here in Michigan we've been having fierce winds - they actually closed the slopes today.
