For the second weekend in a row, I didn't have a race. Instead, I rode with Will and Lumberg. Therefore my "off" weekends are tougher than my racing weekends.
Saturday, with riding to breakfast, work, and hitting the dirt jumps, before I went on the ride with the boys, I had two hours in on the bike. Then we rode from home to Chutes, up Columbine trail, onto Buckhorn, down Captain Jacks and dropped Lower Columbine, all of which is contained in Cheyenne Canyon, or just, "The Canyon". Summed up, I spent five hours on the bike.
Sunday was a little easier, with a mocha run, a jaunt up Palmer Trail into Section 16 (I love that trail....rocks!), down to Red Rocks via Intemann, a little time in the freeride park, and a stop off at the grocery store adding up to only three or so hours on the bike.
Weekend total:
Bike time: 8hrs
De-constructing my shifter: 1.5hrs
Work time: 1.5hrs
Mad cooking: 2hrs (stir fry awesomeness)
Salsa dancing: 2hrs of shaking it
