I raced the Crested Butte Super-D without pre-riding it, and my front brake went out. Not ideal. But the course was so fast and groomed, that I hardly needed the brakes anyways. I ate it once in a muddy ditch, but I still pulled off second place, yay! On the horizon: MSC #5 at Snowmass, then Nationals at Mt. Snow in Vermont.

So why does no one else have a huge bandage on their body somewhere??
Funny story about that bandage...
So I rode 20 hours between Monday and Friday (huge!)...
Then I raced Cross Country...
Then I raced Super-D...
AND THEN I ATE IT WALKING ACROSS THE PARKING LOT!
Yeah, that's true talent.
Congratulations on the 2nd place finish. Your mom told me about it and John here at MSC sent me the link to your blog.
Hope everything is going well.
Best Wishes, Jerry Timm
