At the risk of sounding trite, don't stop. I did, once, on this epic weekend at Wolf Creek. I sank up to my chest. Didn't make that mistake again.

The only downer? Hard to get photos when you sink in that deep. But here's a picture of the car (notice that we had to dig the doors out):

Good for you. We haven't had much fresh snow since around new years. Boo. At least the xc trails have stayed nice.
I am jealous of your XC trails! I tried to go yesterday, but the road to where we we're going to ski was closed by a big accident. Definitely miss being able to ski from the back door, it's a downer to have to drive to xc ski.
